Course annotation:
The course aims to familiarize participants with management issues, especially from the perspective of holistic management - i.e. from the perspective of the level of professional proficiency, practical skills, and social maturity. Participants will acquire basic skills in the field of teamwork, communication, motivation, and evaluation of the level of managerial competence, both from a theoretical and practical perspective. Other skills that participants will learn include issues of self and time management, as well as a comprehensive overview of social maturity - i.e. temperament, somatics, character, creativity, and discernment. Another objective of the course is to introduce the participants to the issues of process management specifically in the areas of Process Oriented Business Management Systems, Business Process Analysis, Business Process Performance Measurement, 2nd Wave of BPM for achieving a radical increase in organizational performance, 3rd Wave of BPM leading to the creation of a process-oriented organization, Relationship between Business Process Management and Business Process Reengineering, Components of Process Management and how to apply them in an enterprise and Relationship between Business Process Management and ISO 900X certification of an organization. The course will also include case studies from projects (companies using process management components in practice). Graduates of the course will be able to: identify key (main) processes within their company, including the identification of the owners and customers of these processes, within the description of processes and their mapping and creation of process maps (process model of the company) to capture the process management system, the use of process maps (models) to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of processes and increase their efficiency, and understand the principles of continuous improvement of processes and measurement of their performance.
