The subject of the educational program. Within the educational program, the candidates will get acquainted with the issues of cost management, organization and process management, financial management, industrial engineering, and leading personnel activities from a manager's perspective.
Main objectives of the training: The individual courses within the training program are provided by experienced lecturers with many years of experience in the academic and corporate spheres. This ensures the high quality of the individual courses, which are practically focused on acquiring the necessary skills.
The format of the training program: the individual courses of the training program are focused on practical aspects of the topics discussed. At least 50% of the course time is devoted to practical exercises and case studies to show the practical application of the tools discussed.
Modules:
1. Cost management tools and methods
The course aims to familiarize participants with the issues of enterprise cost management. Participants will learn the following concepts: financial statements of the company, asset and capital structure of the company, costs, revenues, and profit and loss, as well as cost classification, costs in relation to the performance volume, cost modeling, and break-even analysis. Participants will learn skills to cost products effectively, set up a system of centers and their management rules, plan costs, and effectively prepare and use corporate budgets.

2. Organisation and process management
The course aims to introduce participants to holistic and process management issues. Participants will learn key skills in the areas of teamwork, communication, motivation, and evaluation of the level of managerial competence, both from a theoretical and practical perspective. They will also learn about the process-oriented system of company management, the analysis of business processes, and the measurement of the performance of business processes.

3. Personnel management in manager's work
The course aims to introduce participants to the central HR activities from a manager's perspective. Attention is paid to selecting from job applicants, providing feedback, and the employment law aspects of dismissing an employee. Participants will understand what mistakes they can avoid when selecting from job applicants, be able to formulate appropriate interview questions to screen candidates, understand why it is essential to manage the process of adapting a newcomer to an organization, learn how to provide effective and efficient feedback and become aware of the limitations on dismissing employees from an organization that arises from employment law legislation.

4. Management skills
The course aims to develop participants' basic managerial skills. We will focus mainly on team leadership, teamwork, and defining team roles. The next part will focus on the principles and techniques of self and time management. Attention will also be paid to providing feedback. Participants will become aware of how the words used focus a person's attention and thus affect their performance. Above all, they will learn how to give effective feedback.

5. Industrial Engineering
Participants will learn the key knowledge required for flexible organization and management of manufacturing processes. Practical training in selected methods and tools in the areas of improvement, work analysis and measurement, workplace organization and management, material, and information flow mapping and scheduling, technological production preparation, capacity and resource planning, and process innovation is an integral part of the course. Upon completion of the course, they will be able to effectively plan and manage production processes and production teams, as well as the growing share of digitalization and automation of production processes.

6. Digitisation of economic processes
The purpose of the course is to familiarize participants with new trends in the field of digitalization with a focus on the digitalization of economic processes. The course focuses on modern technologies and trends in accounting and other financial areas. Attention is paid to current developments in the field of IT software, accounting automation, digitization of accounting, digital documents, and, last but not least, developments in related Czech legislation. Graduates get acquainted with the implementation process of modern solutions in enterprises, the impact of modern technologies on work, future trends, and modern requirements for economic professions. Participants will become aware of the problems and mistakes they may encounter during digitalization; they will be able to analyze their current company situation and propose appropriate solutions.

7. Financial management of the company
The course aims to gain a general overview of corporate finance and financial management. Participants will learn to understand and work with the company's financial statements and navigate the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. They will learn to calculate critical financial ratios (profitability, debt, liquidity, activity, productivity), which they can use in real business life. Participants will practice creating a financial plan and learn how to evaluate investment opportunities. Actual case studies will accompany everything discussed.
